How do I fix intermittent microphone issues on iPhone 16 Pro

Anyone else having issues with their IPhone 16 Pro mic not working? Mine intermittently works and is making me crazy! I have health issues and my doctor has called and he couldn’t hear me to tell him my phone isn’t functioning properly!

The apps of FaceTime, Phone and Snapchat all make my microphone sound like it is in a wind tunnel. I am rather frustrated as this is a brand new phone and I have never had an issue such as this with an apple product. I have removed my screen protector and case and the issue persists. Iphone SE Microphone problems Hello everyone, I have a problem with my iphone SE (iOS 16.5 version). When I'm on a call or recording a voice memo, the microphone doesn't work and I can't hear anything. (Whether they call me or if I call) While if I record a video the audio is heard. I assume the recording works from different microphones. How can I check if it is a problem that can be solved by making some changes to the settings or if the problem is a hardware problem and therefore needs to be repaired? I've already tried turning off the noise cancellation and checking if the microphone is active from the settings, but it still doesn't work. Thank you all

restart the phone and check is the device is updated to latest software or not ?
