Unable to share recorded iPhone calls from notes App

Whenever I record a phone call, it saves in the notes app. However, when I tap the three dots in the upper right and click "Share Audio" it often fails to upload, no matter what option I chose (messages, email, Google Drive ...). It only happens with some recordings, and when it does, it often fails to produce a transcript (saying "No Transcript. Transcription will begin soon.") and when I click "Share Audio" it will first get stuck on a "Processing" loading screen before eventually going to the next step, then failing. When it happens, I have no way of getting the audio file off the notes app and onto anything else. Any thoughts on how to fix this?

None of these messages work if your call recording is longer. I think the process breaks somewhere around 20 minutes of length. You can even have the notes folder stored on iCloud, log into your iCloud account from a web browser on your computer and then see the call recording. Unfortunately, short calls can be downloaded without issue, but for longer calls do nothing when you try to download them.

SravanKrA, try this with an hour long call recording. You will see that all of these methods fail. All of them work as expected on shorter calls (e.g. 5, 10, 15 minute calls). I don't know the exact length at which it fails, but it definitely does not work on an hour long call.

I've definitely noticed this too! Seems to be a problem with longer calls.

Please see the pics below which are self-explanatory to save Call Recordings from the Notes App to the Files App (Pic 1) or Share them with many options (Pic 2).

Pic 1: - Notes App to the Files App, on any Cloud Drives (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, OneDrive, DropBox, Flickr, box, AmazonDrive, Adobe Creative Cloud etc) Then please log into them before you can access those files on Files App.

Pic 2: - Share them with many options

Thanks for the reply. These processes work for some notes. For other notes, after I click “Share Audio” or “Save Audio to Files” I get stuck on this screen, then it crashes and takes me back to the notes screen without saving the file.
