If you are running macOS Catalina or later, iTunes is no longer available. It was replaced by the Music , TV and Podcast apps on Macs. Your profile indicates you are running macOS 15.3 (Sequoia). Use the Music & TV apps that are already onm your Mac.

If your question pertains to sync'ing your Mac with an iPhone or iPad, you now do this via the Finder, not iTunes.

iTunes was replaced by the Music app five years ago.

Music can open and convert an iTunes music library into its own library file. The process is described here: Move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Community (Thanks, turingtest2)

If you are needing to manage syncing file and media to your iPhone, iTunes is no longer the method. Since Catalina, syncing is managed in a Finder window. Use the Finder to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with your Mac - Apple Support
