Printer Not Printing After macOS Sequoia 15.3 Update – Communication Error
I have an 18-month-old Epson Ecotank printer (not my favourite, but I’m trying to be greener!). After updating my Mac to Sequoia 15.3, the printer has completely stopped working.
I have tried everything to resolve the issue:
- Moved the printer right next to the router
- Reset the printer multiple times
- Followed all troubleshooting steps via the app and manual
- Watched countless YouTube tutorials
- Checked and rechecked my settings
The test print works, but nothing else will print—every time I try, I get the same frustrating message: "COMMUNICATION ERROR."
I’m at a loss and feeling incredibly frustrated. The printer was working fine before the macOS update, so I suspect this is a compatibility issue. Buying a new printer isn’t financially ideal (or environmentally responsible), so I’d love to hear if anyone in the community has faced this issue and found a fix.
APPLE – any insights? This happened immediately after installing your update!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
