MacBook Air purchased in 2024 not allowing all songs to play

Apple music tells me I'm not authorized to play many of my songs. It mentions that from my old sbcglobal.net. Why does that matter? I had many cd's that I put on my then computer. I don't remember my old id's. Is there some way to help with this? thank you.

Prior to 2010 Apple sold tracks with copy protection attached. Perhaps your old account is connected with tracks that are that old. If so your computer needs to be authorized for that ID as well as your current Apple Account. If these are not supposed to be protected tracks then another possibility is that you need to download fresh copies that are properly decrypted so they can be played outside Apple's software as well as inside it.
