Do I need an Apple Music subscription for iCloud Invites?

Hello. I'm developing an invitation in the new iCloud Invites app. I want to add one of my playlists stored in Apple Music. The playlist contains just one mp3 file. When I click "Add Playlist" in the invitation project, I'm asked to sign in to my Apple account. This happens no matter how many times I try it. I use Apple Music for my own mp3s but do not subscribe to Apple Music. Must I be a subscriber to use one of my own mp3 files into iCloud Invites? If not, how can I solve this problem? Thank you.

(I use a Mac Mini and Sequoia 15.1.1.)
