I am Unable to Delete App or Uninstall it from my iphone 15

Unable to Delete Apps After Updating to iOS 18.3 or maybe some other reason please help.

After updating my iPhone to iOS 18.3, I am unable to delete any apps from the Home Screen, App Library, or even through Settings > General > iPhone Storage. The “Delete App” option is completely missing.

Steps I’ve Already Tried:

1. Checked Screen Time Restrictions Deleting apps is allowed.

2. Tried Removing Apps from iPhone Storage “No Delete App” option appears.

3. Attempted Deleting from the App Store “ Only Hide” appears, no delete option.

4. Verified VPN & Device Management No profiles are restricting app deletions.

5. Restarted and Forced Restarted iPhone No change.

6. Checked for iOS Update No new updates available.

It seems like a potential bug in iOS 18.3. Does anyone else have this issue? Any solutions other than a factory reset?

have tried deleting various apps like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and other games, but the Delete App option is missing for all of them. I am not trying to delete any default Apple apps.

When I press and hold on an app, it only gives me the option to “Remove from Home Screen but not to delete the app entirely. In the App Library, there is no option to remove it from there either.

Even in Settings > General > iPhone Storage, when I select an app, the “Delete App” option is missing.

Also, this device is not under any school or employer management. I checked Settings > General > VPN & Device Management, and there are no profiles restricting app deletions.

Like Lobsterghost I am also on 18.3 and can delete apps just fine.

You might need to escalate the issue to a higher support person, as the first "responders" may just provide the same suggestions you have already tried.

The last option is to simply erase the device and set it up again. If you use a backup and the issue returns, try restoring without a backup and see if still appears.

That's very strange. I have iOS 18.3 and there are no issues deleting apps, which aren't native.

I'd suggest you contact Apple Support at this point. You can use the Support button at the bottom of this page. If you're in the US, you can call Apple at: 800-MY-APPLE or you can go to any Apple Store Genius Bar and show it to them in person.
