Installing macOS Sonoma on a 2024 Mac mini M4

User @Ian R. Brown is correct. There is no way to install a version of macOS that predate the release date of a Mac.

If the computer shipped with Sequoia from the factory, one cannot install Sonoma or Ventura on that Mac. It's been this way since forever with Macs.

Usually you cannot install an operating system earlier than the one originally installed on the machine.

So the answer is probably "no".

Not if it came with Sequoia.

It applies to all computers.
