Turn OFF air quality alerts in weather app

Is there any way to turn off the air quality alerts in the weather app?

Every day I look at my phone it has a caution symbol with "Severe Weather" on the lock screen.

On nightstand mode, "Air quality alert" is perpetually shown.

Why not just show "You should probably move out of the LA area" while you're at it Apple?

It's annoying to have the perpetual chicken-little notification.

This is not in settings under notifications, nor is it within the settings for the weather app.

It's not "chicken-little" if you have asthma. For some of us, it's information crucial to planning our day.

This is not in settings under notifications, nor is it within the settings for the weather app.

If you go into the Weather app to Notifications then go to the very bottom to "Your Locations" and tap on LA, can you turn it off there?

Hello~ When I go to the Weather App I can turn off Critical Alerts there…have you tried that perhaps? Yes, for some of us it is indeed a critical alert…
