Is anyone an expert on using the Logic X Pro drummers?
I am recording a song that appears to have a small time signature change. When using the Adaptive Tempo, the drums do not keep the correct beat during this period.

Would love to help but it would be necessary to see your session. I do recommend you change your time signature to coincide with the song change within the Global Tracks. That could potentially be it but it could also be a Tempo thing and that requires a bit more of a hands-on approach (smart tempo, tempo lane, flex time etc.)
Hope that helps,

Thanks for the advice. Unfortunately I'm not really sure what is going on with the time signature - it is a very small section of the song (< 5 sec). It would be great if you could see the session yourself. Where do you live? I am in Cambridge, MA.
Is there any way to decouple the drum track from the rhythm guitar track that was the source of the tempo map? Now if I try to "fix" the drums it screws with the guitar track and basically fouls everything up.
Thanks!
Les
Have you tried stem separation in Logic Pro 11? It works really well. Look at my YT channel for my details.
