Losing sound in games after watching an ad on iPad Pro

I’ll load my game and start playing, audio works fine. Then I watch an ad, audio still working but when ad is over and it returns me back to the game, audio is out. Game still works fine, just no audio. Then, I watch another ad, audio comes back on for the ad but when it returns to the game, audio is out again!

It gets really frustrating trying to play the game with no sound but when you watch an ad…sound for the ad.

Anyone else out there sharing the same issue or know how to fix this?

Apple has absolutely no control or influence over the behaviour of third-party Apps or advertising content.

Free Apps and Games often inject Ads as a means to generate income for the App Developer. Unfortunately, such Apps are often poorly coded in their handling of external Advertiser feeds.

Very often, the remedy for issues of this nature is straightforward. Simply making an in-App purchase to suppress the advertising will resolve errant behaviour associated with appearance of the Ads. The in-App purchase, where available, in usually a very small cost.

I would also love to hear something about this. It’s super frustrating having to force quit and relaunch games every few minutes.
