Issue with simultaneous audio track recording on Universal Audio Twin X Gen 2

why does my second audio track not record for simultaneous audio track recording but the first mic track does the

I have a new Universal Audio Twin X Gen 2 interface. I have no problems when I connect the first xlr to the output of my amp which also has an xlr out...do this successfully all the time.

However now I tried putting a dynamic mic connected to channel 1 and set is as Input 1 in logic....that works fine.

I have the XLR from the amp to the channel 2 xlr on the universal audio twin x and set the input to Input 6. Strum guitar and there is nothing being recorded.

I set both tracks up with the guidance of the Apple Logic Pro X expert and she said all is set up correctly and should work but it does not.

What am I doing wrong. Also, console shows no sound being input into the Analogue 2 track. but it does show Analogue 1 sound recognized from the dynamic mic on input 1

Do I have a setting wrong. And lastly, both tracks are set to record.

Why are you setting up the channel strip input to 6? It should be Input 2.

Your Apollo looks only to have 4 outputs and 2 inputs.

Are you using an aggregate device/additional interface?
