Phone number registered to Apple Account but not associated with iPhone

Why is my phone saying this number is registered to your apple account, but is not associated with this iPhone. You can keep using this number for iMessage and FaceTime until it expires

Phone # not associated with iphone I have an iPhone 11. While scrolling through settings, I noticed this message in the “Face Time” settings; “This number is registered to your Apple ID but is not associated with this phone. You can keep using the number for iMessage and FaceTime until it expires.” I have 21 days…any fixes?

Greetings!

If you have had a previous cellular device hat was signed into your Apple ID it will show under the account phone number list.
