HomePod connectivity and functionality issues

Connection with Home Pod is so difficult compared to an Amazon device. It’s not what I expect from Apple. It regularly disconnects my iPhone because I place it on the adjacent charger. It won’t play the requested radio station but offers to play all music on the phone. It can’t do the simple functions of a smart speaker well. Very disappointing.

Add HomePod to Home app I have three HomePods purchased in 2020 & 2021 I am trying to set up two as stereo speakers and a third on its own in a different room I have managed to connect to the two HomePods as stereo speakers which is good I have got the third HomePod working (e.g. Spotify via my iPhone) but can't seem to add it to the Home app - and therefore cannot access any settings. Home App shows HomePod as not playing When I'm outside and check my HomePod I can start or stop playing music, but it shows as not playing and I can't see the song playing, choose another one or control the volume, I remember that was possible before. Is there a way to fix this?

HomePod will not connect to iPhone I had just bought a HomePod. I set it up and connected it to Wi-Fi. When I turn it on it plays random music and it won’t play the music from my phone. I thought it would easily connect to my phone but it doesn’t. It keeps saying pairing was unsuccessful. Is there something else I need to do?
