have iphone 16 pro max put the latest version of ios 18.3 and there is a colossal problem. When opening the camera and switching modes from photo to video and vice versa, the camera hangs for 20-30 seconds. I noticed it recently, but nothing helps not rebooting the device not resetting the settings

Happening to me too. It’s random, but it will always happen when I’m taking a lot of photos and videos - like on a trip - which increases the annoyance factor by 1000%. I try to go on a small trip every weekend and take a bunch of photos and videos. It can be fixed by closing / swiping the camera app out, and launching it again.
On top of the random screen glitches unless you turn off always on display, this is the worst iPhone (16 pro max) I ever owned. Can’t wait to trade this for the 17 pro max when it comes out. Apple is really getting worse on the software/hardware integration front, which used to be their biggest strength. I hope the software team is listening! I also keep on hoping that after every new iOS update, it gets fixed, but so far, it’s still broken (18.3.2). We love Apple, but this is too much. Thank you.
