Volume going down, but the bar isnt

Does this happen when you use headphone?

If so ,Here are a few things to try:

1. Check if "Reduce Loud Sounds" is On

• Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics >

Headphone Safety

If "Reduce Loud Sounds" is on, try turning it off and see if that helps.

2.If you don’t use headphones maybe your iPhone is stuck in headphone mode, it might lower the volume.

• Try connecting and disconnecting headphones (wired or Bluetooth).

• Clean the Lightning port if you're using wired headphones.

3. Disable Attention-Aware Features (if using Face ID) :

• Go to Settings > Face ID & Passcode

• Turn off Attention-Aware Features

• This stops the phone from lowering volume when it thinks you're looking at the screen.
