Can't turn on Sync Library in Music on MacBook Air (Error 12002)

Hi there!

I have an Early 2015 MacBook Air, currently updated to Monterey.

I recently made the switch from Spotify to Apple Music and transferred over all of my playlists.

However, I'd like to organize my playlist into folders, which can only be done on the Music app on my computer (to my understanding, anyways. I tried to see if I could do it in the browser player but alas, no luck).

However every time I try to turn on Sync Library in Preferences, I get this pop up error message:

I'm unable to turn it on at all. I've tried waiting for a bit, restarting my computer, turning iCloud music off/on, turning Genius on/off, to no luck. Same message keeps popping up.

Any tips on how to fix this issue?

All help is appreciated! :) TIA.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.7

Resolved the issue on my own!

Had to sign out of my Apple/iCloud account on my MacBook as a whole, sign back in, then restart.

Now it's all synced.
