Entering Apple password when I want to install an app

I do not want to be asked for my iphone/Apple password every time I want to add an app. How can I stop this behavior? I have tried going into Passwords and fingerprint ID (don't have face recog on my phone) and it's off. I see this is a known issue for some. And some say it's a Bug in iphone. Suggestions?
