in my screen time i see authkituiservice active

checking the screen time by chance I noticed that for a few days my phone has started to record the time of use of authkituiservice, it seems that it remains active even in the background. I tried to update my device to the latest version of ios but the situation does not change. Searching here on the forum I read that many of you have had the same problem but no one has given a solution, have you solved it somehow?

iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 18

ChatGPT says:

If you’re seeing authkituiservice in your Screen Time usage, this is typically related to Apple's authentication and user interface services, handling tasks like logging in or verifying your identity for certain apps or system processes.

It’s not unusual for this service to be active, especially if you're using apps that require authentication, like banking, social media, or Apple services (iCloud, App Store, etc.).

If it’s using an unusual amount of time or causing issues, you could try the following:

  1. Check if any apps are stuck on login or verification. This might cause the service to stay active longer than usual.
  2. Restart your device to clear any potential issues with the service running in the background.
  3. Check for app or iOS updates, as sometimes bugs related to authentication can be fixed with a new version.
