Secondary user profile pop-up asking for admin Apple Account password on MacBook

A Secondary non-admin user profile keeps having a pop-up Systems Settings window that asks for an Admin Apple (iCloud) Account password.

"Enter the password for your apple account to continue using account services on this Mac: 1234abcd@icloud.com" when logged into a secondary MBP user profile.

It doesn’t Pop-Up when logged into Primary Admin user account profile.

I had the same issue, and what worked for me was checking the Apple account associated with the email in the pop-up. Here’s what I did:

1. Sign in to the Apple ID account (using the email shown in the pop-up) at appleid.apple.com.

2. Check the list of trusted devices under “Account Security”

3. I found that my MacBook was unexpectedly linked to that Apple ID.

4. Removed the MacBook from the account and logged out.

5. After doing this, the pop-up stopped appearing on the secondary user profile.

This may help if your device is mistakenly associated with a different Apple ID. Hope this helps!
