Apple TV app keeps crashing

Everything that I try to watch on Apple TV gets 10 minutes into the program and then goes off with a statement saying can’t load content. Check internet connection. I have high speed internet service and have no problem with my internet service. I have tried 2 days to watch Apple TV and this continues to happen. What can I try before I cancel my subscription?

This seems to be for a TCL 4K TV running Roku system software.


Another user (mygreensocks) suggested this procedure from Roku Support staff, which reportedly helped several users.

  1. Remove the Apple TV app,
  2. Shut off and unplug the TV (or streaming device),
  3. Wait 30 seconds,
  4. Plug the TV (or streaming device) back in,
  5. Reload the Apple TV app.


Else try the Network Connection Reset, as mentioned by user Jarieta.
