macOS keeps asking me to approve Chromium notifications

Every time I reboot I see two of the exact same notification asking me if I want to approve notifications from Chromium. Every time I select don't allow and every time I restart or reboot I see the same question again. It's becoming maddening.

Unwanted notifications on MacBook Yesterday, I tried to load a website asking me to "confirm that you're not a robot" and then clicked allow. Soon after, I began to receive notifications that my McAfee had expired (I never had McAfee). I scanned with Malwarebytes and discovered nothing. Subsequently, I received a new notification (conventional System notification in the upper right corner) advising that someone was downloading files from my computer. I ran another scan, still nothing. I then installed the upgrade to Ventura 13.2.1 but received more downloading warnings. I checked my Notifications permissions and found that a new app called "ask you" appeared on the list and had notifications allowed. I turned off the permissions and expect the notifications will stop, but I'm concerned there may be other issues. Any ideas will be appreciated.

Frequent System Notifications and alerts Since a few days I get frequent notifications (see image) which I can only switch off when I disable System Notifications but I wonder what kind of hack this is and how I can remove it. When I click on the notifications, I am redirected to Yahoo in the Brave browser, but it also opens Safari asking to scan the mac mimicking McAfee but via the URL semaricom.com, a bad reputation website. I did not try any further steps.

Turning off System Notification on Safari in my MacBook running macOS Ventura. Please help, I have been getting a notification in the top right corner of my screen saying that my mcafee antivirus thing has expired, it has a settings icon next to the text. I have tried EVERYTHING to get rid of it but nothing will work, whenever I click on the notification it brings me to this perhu.cfd website saying I visited an illegal website, which I haven't. The notification has been popping up every few minutes for the past 3 days and i'm beginning to go insane. Nothing that I've found online has helped and this is honestly my last resort. Go into the Chromium browser settings and configure it to disable the Notifications. You may need to search for "notification" in the Chromium settings.

As it turns out, a piece of software I use regularly recently had a completely re-write. This bug was a result of that.

And for those that are curious, the software in question is Dante Controller from Audinate.

I have this issue and do not have the Chromium browser. Or Chrome for that matter.

Chrome is not the only browser that uses Chromium. The Chrome browser is Google's implementation of it.
