How do I change my Apple ID for app updates?

Usually my Phone would update apps with no issue but when I tried to update an app I was requested to put in my apple password for my old Apple ID. Does anyone know how to set it to my current one?

Delete and redownload the application you're trying to update; the other account is stored inside it.
