Don’t want reminders syncing with iCloud

Hi everyone, I’m trying to stop my reminders from syncing to iCloud. I know how to go into iCloud settings and under reminders turn off syncing but the problem is when I do that says reminders will be deleted from iPhone.

I don’t know how to save them to only my iPhone before I stop syncing because I can’t delete my reminders I would be lost.

Stopping Reminders from Syncing:

I don't get that message, or maybe I am performing this another way. Try the following, seeing if you don't get this message...

Go to: Settings
Tap: [your name] (top item)
Tap: iCloud
Tap: See All
Toggle Off: Reminders
