On my previous iPhone, I could make an individual app icon appear really large on the Home Screen. Is it possible to do the same on the iPhone 16 Pro Max? I haven't found a way to do that yet. Please help! Thank you!

It's not really ever been possible to make an app icon any larger than they are. It's never been a function of any iPhone.
Were you maybe using a widget and not an app icon?
Those can be pretty large. Calendar and Weather in the image below are Widgets for example.

In addition, while you cannot control individual app icon size, you can make them all larger now with iOS 18.
The App developers need to support the Widget function for it to appear on the list.
Some apps seem to have lost that function with iOS 18 and may need the developers to re-add it.
What did the icon look like exactly when it was enlarged? Or what is the app if it's not too personal?
The app is "Plaud." It's a wearable (similar to an Apple Watch) that you can use to take notes while you're in meetings or having a conversation and need to remember what was being discussed. Maybe it's just too new of a gadget to be available yet to create a widget.
