IPVanish and 2FA on iPhone device

If I were to switch on 2FA on an iPhone and install IPVanish on the same device. As for the flash it will have custom encryption( if possible)

Which one of these two IPVANISH/ 2FA will encrypt my internet communications first? Can I have IPVANISH supercede everything and then let 2 FA catch on?
