Music that is added to my library in Apple Music will not play in Music app. Only songs that will play are from the store. Any time I add a song for download to my library, when I go to launch it to play, it doesn't play and glitches out. Sometimes, it will start playing some other song from the Apple Music Store.

If you click the download arrow, and allow the download to complete, will the track then play? I'm wondering if your bandwidth is insufficient for streaming, causing Music to skip on in the hope of playing the next track instead. If you visit https://fast.com/ what does it say your Internet speed is? If you turn off lossless streaming (see Play lossless audio in Music on Mac - Apple Support) does Music start streaming content more reliably?

Here is the logic flow. All songs I stream/download are lossless, yes:
Find song I like-->click "Add"--->song gets added to "Songs"/"Library with song info and "icloud" icon/section showing the download arrow (arrow pointing down)---->click to play--->song glitches/flashes to queue but doesn't play or plays a related song from store.
This is from the Music app on the computer and not from web store/web player
They have been downloaded to my computer or at least I believe they are. They are lossless audio and downloaded to the /Macintosh HD/Users/admin/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Music path as .movpkg. It used to be they would download as ALAC files, but with recent updates there was a conversion for .movpkg. However, literally as I was typing this out and went into the app to demo to explain, it righted itself and now it works. I'm not sure what happened. Maybe you can explain why this happened? I got to say Apple Music the app is very glitchy. Unfortunately, it has a practical monopoly on music and 98% of the time music I can't find on most other platforms I can find here.
Are these songs that you are streaming, or have they been downloaded to your computer first? Are you using lossless audio in Apple Music?
