HomePod not playing music from Apple TV on same Wi-Fi

Hello,

My HomePod has been working fine until I traveled and took my Apple TV with me , when I got back. Now my HomePod will not play any music from Apple TV via Siri.

Homepod has problem with Apple Music -solved I just bought a new Homepod 2 and Apple TV 4K 3rd generation (replacing older versions). Set up was fine and everything works except when I tried to ask Siri to play music from my Apple Music Library. There was a pause and Siri said she had a problem with Apple Music. Looking in this community and around the web, this is not an uncommon problem. I tried the recommended fixes (rebooting, switching router on and off, signing out of and back in to Apple Music etc, resetting Homepod), but nothing worked. I could play music through the Homepod by handing off from my iphone, but not via Siri and my music library. Finally, I got a clue from a comment about using the Homepod as the default audio output for the Apple TV. I switched the Apple TV audio back to the TV speakers. Bingo! The Homepod/Apple Music problem was solved. Hopefully this is helpful to others experiencing this problem. How come Apple can't get the integration across devices right yet?!

HomePod with Apple Music on Apple TV I have a problem listening to Apple Music on my Apple TV connected to my HomePod (2nd generation) and my HomePod mini, some songs specifically at a certain time one HomePod stops playing. I restart the song and both work correctly until that specific minute where one stops working. I have already restarted all my devices, I have them connected to the same Wi-Fi network and this problem persists in most of my songs and it is VERY annoying. All updated to the latest version of the system (18)

HomePod not connecting to Apple Music Upon requesting Siri to play a song, it will get back saying “I having trouble to connect to Apple Music” and no music is played after. Just can play music on my HomePod if if broadcast from my iPhone.

and or

Set up home cinema audio with HomePod or HomePod mini and Apple TV 4K - Apple Support (SG)
