How do I get rid of Wallpapers on my iPad?

So I have like 10 wallpaper options and some stink so do you know how to get rid of some?

Hello~ Press down on your iPad screen as if you were creating a new wallpaper and chose the one you want to delete and slide upwards …it should show you a red trash symbol… click on that and it will then ask if you want to delete it. Voila and repeat to any others you want to delete.

To expand and clarify Katana-San’s guidance...


iPad Wallpaper can be set from WallPaper Settings and from the lock screen.

Change the wallpaper on iPad - Apple Support


Custom Wallpaper can only be removed from the iPadOS 17/18 Lock Screen. To delete from the Lock Screen - while the iPad is at the unlocked Lock Screen - touch and hold to expose the Wallpaper selection page. To delete an unwanted Wallpaper, simply swipe upwards - and confirm deletion.
