Touch ID not working on iPhone SE with iOS 18.2.1

The description covers most of it. I know my fingerprint hasn't changed (no new cuts etc and it still works just fine on my MacBook Pro). It doesn't open my phone, it doesn't open my apps. I tried to find a way to restart it by entering a new fingerprint but I CAN'T cuz it won't let me do that until I unlock the process using my Touch ID. AAAUUUGGHHHHH!

Any suggestions (hopefully short of buying a new iPhone {last resort solution})?
