I'm transferring my library to a new PC. All the music files have been copied over. When I try to import my playlists, however, only a fraction of the songs are located by iTunes. How can I get it to locate all of them?

See Move your iTunes library to a new computer - Apple Community. When you move the library correctly all of the playlists, ratings, play counts, date added details and so on come over as part of the library. There is no need to import playlists separately.

Aah, I'd copied a duplicate library on another drive instead of my C: drive, where the correct one was. All good now. Thanks for the pointer.
