Ensoniq SD-1 Into Logic Pro
i have been reading old threads on here trying to figure out how to properly convert my old SD-1 sequences and sounds to Logic Pro, it the articles are extremely outdated my knowledge of MIDI is very limited when it comes to older devices. I want to be able to snd my sequences to Logic Pro and capture them, and maybe save the sound banks too without having to buy outside software and also recording separate audio tracks of each sequence track due to time constraints. I get lost in all the clock and MTC options Logic asks for in its settings, and ideally, I want to be able to send over track data individually on separate midi channels but just can’t get Logic to receive the data. I last tried sending midi sys-ex with the all sequencer data option and logic seemed to pick up about 17 KB of data but that’s all, and it’s not musical notes. Sorry for lack of better descriptions but I need help with the settings between the SD-1 and LPX to see what my options are at this point. I am connecting the units by a mio 1 in 1 usb to midi interface to my Mac mini m2
