Suspect LogicPro App corrupt as cannot get Audio sound

2 days ago MacMini Pro M2 with LogicPro v 11.1 would not produce any sound from any Audio Track, except some crackling sounds. Thought to be the Apogee Quartet or its USB cord; but, Arturia MiniFuse 4 does the same. Thought perhaps Godin MultiAc Spectrum SA pickups/electronics; but, a Tacoma Aoustic does the same; and both work on my 2014 iMac Big Sur using MiniFuse 4 or Apogee Quartet. Reinstalled macOS Sonoma 14.7.2, and now get signal all the way to the outputs; but, no signal from top meter to studio monitors. Tried 3 different sets. Used numerous cords for all connections. Exact configuration worked perfectly for years. Now, it must be SW - LogicPro App, or HW - the 2023 MacMini Pro M2 - HW vs SW problem?

However, Plug-Ins all work fine and get sound from all using Novation 37 key MIDI keyboard. System alert sounds work fine. This is only LogicPro Audio Track sound output problem, as far as I have determined.

There is an update for LogicPro, v 11.1 to 11.1.2. Thinking of Deleting the LogicPro App first; but, can one do this without losing your setup, configurations and other changes that might be kept in contents?

Perhaps try the update hoping to fix problem first? If that does ot work, the MacMini Pro M2 is under Warranty until April with Apple Care+. Not looking forward to a Support session, as you rarely get someone knowledgeable with LogicPro. Any suggestion how to proceed before I try an update to 11.1.2?

Best, Seth

This problem was caused by the ORANGE Mic Mode that now displays in Menu if being accessed or recently so; but, is Voice Isolation is Selected, LogicPro Audio Tracks will be MUTED Completely! Not sure why Audio Output has anything to do with Mic Access; but, Select STANDARD; and, this turns OFF this problem and all functions again. Spent 2 days trying to FIX this. I checked this oragen icon not seen before and it was on Standard; and, never change something if not knowing what it is for. Not knowing why Voice Isolation was selected; and, not understanding why this would MUTE ALL audio output? SW Instrument Plug-Ins all worked fine, as did system alerts. Created a difficult problem that was fixed with a mouse click... Not happy today... Seth

Yes, I had a chat session with Apple Support and he was flabbergasted and said that was a legitimate issue and gave me a link to tell Apple about it for a suggestion to address. I did fill it out and explained in detail. We’ll see what happens down the road with that potentially disasterous voice isolation causing LogicPro to stop working for audio input of any kind, from your audio interface. You would think it would be limited to the Mac microphone or the Apple display microphone. Why would it extend to an audio interface as well? One would never want to use this here?
