Suspect LogicPro App corrupt as cannot get Audio sound
2 days ago MacMini Pro M2 with LogicPro v 11.1 would not produce any sound from any Audio Track, except some crackling sounds. Thought to be the Apogee Quartet or its USB cord; but, Arturia MiniFuse 4 does the same. Thought perhaps Godin MultiAc Spectrum SA pickups/electronics; but, a Tacoma Aoustic does the same; and both work on my 2014 iMac Big Sur using MiniFuse 4 or Apogee Quartet. Reinstalled macOS Sonoma 14.7.2, and now get signal all the way to the outputs; but, no signal from top meter to studio monitors. Tried 3 different sets. Used numerous cords for all connections. Exact configuration worked perfectly for years. Now, it must be SW - LogicPro App, or HW - the 2023 MacMini Pro M2 - HW vs SW problem?
However, Plug-Ins all work fine and get sound from all using Novation 37 key MIDI keyboard. System alert sounds work fine. This is only LogicPro Audio Track sound output problem, as far as I have determined.
There is an update for LogicPro, v 11.1 to 11.1.2. Thinking of Deleting the LogicPro App first; but, can one do this without losing your setup, configurations and other changes that might be kept in contents?
Perhaps try the update hoping to fix problem first? If that does ot work, the MacMini Pro M2 is under Warranty until April with Apple Care+. Not looking forward to a Support session, as you rarely get someone knowledgeable with LogicPro. Any suggestion how to proceed before I try an update to 11.1.2?
