Voice control passcode issue on iPhone

Voice control will not let me use my passcode to unlock my phone to cut off voice control. How do I get in my phone?

If you have Siri enabled on your lock screen say “Hey Siri, turn off voiceover"

Otherwise tap twice anywhere you normally tap once. For example, for your Passcode tap each digit twice.
