How long does Apple take to ship backordered custom Mac Studio to store?

There is no warehouse of Macs, waiting to be pulled and sent to you. Almost ANY Mac you could order is likely to be shown as "back-ordered".

Each is built to order in the factory, currently in China, and air-freighted to your country by the pallet-load, then delivered to you or your dealer by expedited delivery.

If the reseller is an Apple-Authorized reseller, the amount of time it takes to build, test, and deliver to you is EXACTLY the same amount as if you keyed in an order for the same system on Apple.com.

if the reseller is NOT an Apple-Authorized reseller, then it may take longer, because their distribution may be more convoluted, by an amount that is unknowable.

I’m not familiar with the B&H path.

From Apple, the process duration varies.

I’ve seen everything from available in-stock, to a month, and very occasionally more.

When ordering from Apple, the Apple website and Apple Store app will both show an estimated delivery date just before you commit to the purchase.

I’d expect B&H is similar. But ask them.

You need to pick up a telephone and call B&H, they are responsive however they may not have the information you need available but until you call them you won't know will you?
