Logic Pro 'help tags' - issues and a question.
I love Logic Pro 💙, but I'm having some difficulty with 'help tag' side effects. In short, I'd prefer to turn off 'help tags' altogether, as I know my way around Logic fairly well now, but I can't turn them off because it also disables showing Track volumes in the Track Window which I believe is necessary information.
The attached pic explains two specific issues I'm having with Logic's 'help tags', including the Track volume issue. If the pic doesn't work, or is difficult to see, here are the issues:
Issue #1: Turning off 'help tags' also disables Track Volume (dB) levels in the track header sliders in the main Track window. I'm a past Garageband user, so I prefer working in the main Track window without using the Mixer window. I think being able to see the dB reading on a track's volume is critical info, not 'help' info. So, even with the 'help tags' off, I think the track volume (dB) should always be available (without having to switch to Mixer view), but it's not. ☹️
Issue #2: When aligning the end of the Cycle Range of a song, say to a certain position in one of the track regions, the 'help tag' covers up the regions, so I can't see the region to make the alignment. The 'help tag' is showing the Left, Right, and Length info of the Cycle Range which is fine, but it blocks the view. 🤔
🙋🏻♂️ My question is, can these issues be worked around, and if not, how do I put in a request to Apple's Logic Pro people who may be able to make changes (which I think are necessary).
Thanks
