Should I upgrade my M2 Mac mini to the M4 model?

I don't use the full power of the M2 Mac mini, just photo editing, web browsing, social etc. But I want to keep up to date. Should I change now? Any advice.

Personally, if the M2 is doing what you want at a level of performance that you like, I would say hold off on updating. It will likely be several more years before Apple will drop any OS support for it so it will still be fine in that respect for a good while. So, until such time as the M2 performance no longer meets you needs or Apple finally drops OS support for it, I would stick with it.

However, if you have money burning a hole in your pocket that you don't know what to do with, by all means upgrade.
