Ecobee 4 thermostat "not responding"

I've gone through all the steps in the ecobee troubleshooting and finally figured out the problem.

In the upper right corner of the "My Home" page on my iPhone, in Home Settings, I changed the Home Hubs & Bridges from automatic selection of my Apple TV in the basement to manually select a HomePod I have on the main floor.

Now everything works perfectly

HomeKit not work anymore with tado after 18.1 update Hello, I observe few morning ago when I started to use heating again in my house, tado wireless receiver x ( with matter ) is no sync anymore with HomeKit . in HomeKit heating is off but in tado app Is active and set to 23 degrees. I check on receiver and I saw is not work anymore from HomeKit to set temperature, only from tado app. And all of these after I update 18.1 iOS . I tried : reinstall tado app reset receiver x ( wired to heater) reset wireless thermostat Remove from HomeKit Change default homehub from Apple TV to HomePod all connection are successfully but still not work from HomeKit. I have more sensors from merros with matter too and is not working properly also . anyone facing this issue ? Any idea what to try anymore ? iOS 18.1 (22B83) Tado version: 8.11.0 thanks

Can’t add an ecobee to HomeKit One of my ecobee thermostats won’t add to my Home app - it says device not responding, but the device responds just fine to the ecobee app and to Alexa voice commands. I removed it from home app, thinking I should added it anew and start again but now, the ecobee and Home , dont see each other. my other ecobee thermostats in My Home are all showing up as usual in the home app and I responding as usual

iOS 16 HomeKit automations not triggering anymore? Hi Anyone else have the issue that since iOS 16 several home automations will stop working? In my case, I have lights and scenes that stopped triggering permanently although they are enabled. Likewise I have an eve room sensor that stopped turning up/down the heating or on/off a wall plug to control humidity. First I thought it was related to rules with geofencing enabled, but this seems not the only issue. Then I discovered rules impacted with time constraints. And finally it degraded to just plain not working for some of my rules. All my eve thermostats, eve room and some of the lights have line of sight to all but the HomePod minis. Other lights have the opposite or no line of sight. In any case, iOS 16 has been devastating to the HomeKit experience in my case and I hope to find an answer here. I operate 16 lights, 5 wall plugs, 3 eve thermostats and 1 eve room sensor since 2017. I refuse to try (over and over) anything that costs me a day of my life (eg: full reset). i tried, but did not improve anything: update my 3 HomePods 2018 update my 2 HomePod mini update my Apple tv check eve firmware up to date remove geofencing from automation remove time constraints from automation remove and re-add device in automation i have had temporary success with: delete automation and recreate it (works with my lights (hue), not with eve (thread?)) I’m at a loss. Winter is here and my heating setup is dysfunctional. Any help welcome…. ps: why is HomeKit not available as a topic on community?
