When will tiktok be back on the app store

TikTok is currently not available on the App Store in the United States to comply with local legislation. There is currently no confirmed date for when it will return.

You should direct your request to Congress who passed the law or ByteDance who is required to sell to a US company before it will be made available again. Posting to Apple to break the law is a waste of time. It may be possible that you simply believed that it is "unbanned", but that just means for now you can access it on the web or from a previously downloaded app. I may be able to help with some facts to clear some things up:

• Congress passed a law that placed a $5,000 per user fine on both Apple and Google for each download it allows.
• The Supreme Court upheld the law.
• It is not available in the Google Play Store either for that reason.

Depends on if China allows the sale to a US company. Nobody knows when or if that will happen, but the days our counting down for them to decide.
