Verification Failed when trying to accept new terms and conditions

Just went abroad. Can't sign out of icloud account. Can't reset phone. I signed out of icloud on my phone from my computer, but it didn't work.

Phone Signing Out I just got a new iPhone for Christmas and I am trying to sign out and erase everything from my old iPhone 11 but it continues to say “Verification Error”

Verification failed when trying to sign into my new phone with I cloud asked For password to iCloud and I enter the correct password and it keeps saying “verification failed an unknown error occurred”

First update to the latest iOS 18.2.1. Then try to accept the new iCloud Terms and Conditions.
