How to turn off internet (wifi or cellular data) on a specific app.

please its very important or necessary for a iPhone user.

Unable to turn off mobile data for apps I’m currently running iOS 16.3 on a 13 ProMax and have turned off mobile data for certain apps. However while Wi-Fi is turned off these apps seem to still have internet access as banner & video ads load. Short of outright turning off mobile data entirely or putting the phone on airplane mode these apps seem to retain internet access. Is this a bug with 16.3, have apps found a way to circumvent turning off their mobile data access or is there some setting buried somewhere I’m missing..?

You can turn off cellular access by going to Settings>Apps>App Name and turning off "cellular." However, the app will still be able to access WiFi if that's available.

You may want to look at restricting the app using Screen Time:
