Reclaim apple intelligence disk space

I have a MacMini Intel 2018 with a 256 GB internal disk and a 2 TB external drive. Because the small internal drive, I already moved to the external drive everything that could be moved, but still I can only keep arount 20 GB of free space.

Today I read that latest version of MacOS (Sequioa 15.3) will enable Apple Intelligence by default, which will take 7 GB out of my already small available disk space. Since I don't care about Apple Intelligence, I wonder what would happend if I disable it on Settings:

a) The space taken will be freed ?

b) If not freed automatically, is there a way to manually reclaim that space ?

TIA

Victor

I just bought an M4 Mac mini, but I don't want to use Apple Intelligence so I have disabled it, but it is still hogging 4.85Gb disk space which I want to re-claim. How can I do this?

Honestly, that's an stupid move from Apple, specially when you take in consideration how absurdy overpriced is their SSD configurations, so every MB in the internal disk is precious!!
