I want to change my document template to a new one because I like the new temple better. How can I assign a new template to an existing document? Pages 13.1. Is this even allowed in Pages?

One template per document. All you can do is create a new document with the preferred template and then copy/paste the original content into that new document and reformat as needed.
Thanks so much. I was thinking as if there were "style sheets" as used in CSS style sheets with html. It would be nice to just flip on a different "style sheet" to see instantly how it looks with different stylings.
