Those are all the same iPhone, and they are not paired. Those are BLE non-paired connections to apps, not phone to phone.

There are app(s) on iPhones nearby that are putting the iPhone in a discovery mode. It’s not connected or paired. It is only identifiable as available for connection. If it were connected the I in a circle would be present.

The software could be for a car, a smart assistant like Alexa, or dozens of other products. If you live in an apartment or condo, it could be a neighbor’s device.

I am having the same problem. I have a new iPhone 16 Plus. Never had this problem with my iPhone 14. When I'm using a Bluetooth speaker in an area where other people are walking by, there is interference - sound cuts in and out. I looked at my Bluetooth list and when it happens there are multiple iPhones that show connected in my list. It seems that people walking by have iPhones that are connecting without knowing it. There is no "i" to let me disconnect those iPhones - they eventually drop off when there are fewer people around. I wish there was a way to block unauthorized connections to Bluetooth.
