If notifications for Gmail have stopped working on your iPhone 6s+ despite checking your settings, there are a few additional steps you can take. First, make sure that notifications are enabled for Gmail by going to Settings > Notifications > Gmail and ensuring that Allow Notifications is toggled on. Verify that the alert style is set to your preference, whether that be banners, lock screen, or notification center. Next, check if Do Not Disturb is accidentally turned on, as this could silence your Gmail notifications. You can do this by going to Settings > Do Not Disturb or swiping to check the status in the Control Center. Additionally, verify that the Gmail app itself is set to send notifications. Open the app, go to Settings (by tapping the menu in the top left corner), and select your account to ensure Notifications is set to “All”. It’s also worth resetting your network settings in case there’s an issue with connectivity; go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. If the problem persists, try deleting and reinstalling the Gmail app or checking if there is a new version of iOS available for your device by going to Settings > General > Software Update. These steps should help restore Gmail notifications on your iPhone.
