Password?.......or......Passcode?

Big difference. What is the message that you see on the screen?

If you're locked out of your old iPhone and the "Forgot Password" option isn't appearing, you can try a couple of methods to regain access. The first method is to use Recovery Mode. To do this, start by turning off your iPhone. Then, put your iPhone in recovery mode by following specific steps based on your model. For iPhone 8 and newer, press and quickly release the Volume Up button, then the Volume Down button, and finally press and hold the Side button until the recovery mode screen appears. For iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, press and hold the Volume Down and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously until the recovery screen shows up. For iPhone 6s and earlier, press and hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time. Once in recovery mode, connect your iPhone to your computer and open Finder (on macOS Catalina or later) or iTunes (on Windows or earlier macOS). A prompt will appear asking if you want to Restore or Update the iPhone. Select Restore, and the device will be wiped and reset to factory settings, allowing you to set it up as a new device or restore from a backup.

If you had Find My iPhone enabled, you can also use iCloud to remotely erase your iPhone. Simply go to iCloud.com and log in with your Apple ID. From there, select Find iPhone, choose your device from the list, and click Erase iPhone. This will remove the passcode and erase all data on your device. Afterward, you can restore from a backup or set it up as a new phone.

If these options don't work, you can always contact Apple Support for further assistance. They can guide you through additional steps, but keep in mind that you’ll need to provide proof of ownership of the device.

I believe you are referring to your iPhone passcode. Please follow one of these two articles based on your case to reset your passcode:

iPhone is disabled: If you forgot your iPhone passcode or your iPhone is disabled - Apple Support

iPhone is unavailable: If you see a iPhone, iPad, or Apple Vision Pro unavailable message or Security Lockout screen - Apple Support
