I dropped my iPad and have a small crack in lower right corner…the touch screen is not working fully.. I can input some numbers of my passcode, but not all so I can not eat into iPad to erase all info
iPad will turn on, but some numbers in my password do not respond to touch, so I can not get into iPad to erase it so I can discard it. What can I do?

Does WiFi have to be active on the device that I want to erase? I would think it would, but I know it is not active.
If your IPad is Wi-Fi only, then Wi-Fi is required to erase the device. If it’s not currently Wi-Fi connected, the erase will begin the next time it is connected.
