Transferring personal contacts and notes from work phone to new iPhone
My work and personal contacts are all under the same Apple ID. I do not want to share my new number with some co-workers as I am retiring and do not want to be bothered by some of those I worked with.
I backed up the work phone to my laptop using itunes. Should I create a new Apple ID with my work email on the company phone? I realize I probably have to weed out my personal contacts from the work phone and similarly weed out work contacts on the new phone. I only used a few apps on the work side, the rest were personal. Personal emails were always on my gmail account so email is not an issue. I already deleted all work photos from the icloud , which took about 9 hours. UGGH! I guess my only concern would be NOTES at this point. Thanks for any and all help. Paul.
