what should an iPhone 14 Pro Max battery percentage be at before it needs to be replaced with a new battery? I am asking this question because mine is at 87% health

I've seen several posts on these forums saying that when Battery Health falls below 80 percent, you should replace the battery.
On my iPhone 12 mini, when Battery Health fell from 80 percent to 79 percent, I got a notification to the effect that the battery needed servicing, and one of the Settings screens started showing battery health as "Service."

80%. Whether you can get it replaced before then is at the service center's discretion.

You will see a notice on your phone that your battery needs service (replacement) when it drops below 80% Maximum Capacity.
You can probably go another month or two after you see the message, unless you notice rapidly declining performance.
