iPhone 16 Pro stuck during update verification

My iPhone 16 Pro is locked up and will not verify update. I was attempting to update my phone using Apple devices App on my PC. Everything appeared to go well until it starting verifying the update, then the status bar stopped progressing. I attempted to restart procedure 2. I then resorted to Restore phone option. No change. PC downloads software copies software to phone, then locks up during verification of software. at restart iPhone displays PC and USB cord. I reconnect phone and procedures restarts, but never progresses past 1/16th of status bar on iPhone. I have let it set for 2 hours to no avail. I'm stuck in lockup!!

I think this is similar to me, bought iPhone 16 pro max other day went to set it up and transfer data across, it wanted to update in the middle of this said about 2/3hours?! Then after it wouldn’t let me unlock the screen or nothing. It’s stuck on the hello in all the different languages. Frustrating as I literally bought it yesterday!!

I'm stuck in the hello screen also. I just bought it today and I transfer everything and it asked me to update OS. I did and it was just clocking on the update page for hours. I did a restart and now it's stuck on the hello page. It just shows the enter code page for a split second and goes back to hello. I'm going back to T-mobile store tomorrow as instructed by their tech support. We'll see what they say, but it seems to be a issue with a lot of people as I searched this forum and seems to be the OS upgrade.
